Read
I read almost 300 books this past summer. I got a Kindle today. I’m rather excited.  It’s a lot of fun being unplugged. A little hard to get used to. But Sealegs is giving me a few minutes here to blog. Time’s up!

Breaktime
I’m stepping out for a bit from this online realm. I’ll check back temporarily if and when I need to get in touch with peeps. I’ll be checking asadchishti1[at]gmail[dot]com regularly. Be good, +A.

Anonymous asked: How do you manage your time? What are all the things you're involved in? I just wish I could accomplish half of what I wanted to (you seem to be doing a better job though, good on you)

I cannot wait.
To fail.  A few times and not forever.  But I’m excited to fail at ventures I pursue.

Anonymous asked: How did you get to know Amit Gupta? You two must be very close for you to be pouring your energy into this. That, or you're hoping to become very close? Also, why did you choose to study engineering chemistry? I know how people are and what they're interested in don't always line up, but you seem totally geared towards poly sci or journalism or something. Anyway, get back to social...

The idea of flight.
One of my favorite authors, Richard Bach, constantly explored the concept of flight. I believe that we’re all meant to fly.  Gravity is just a hurdle we need to cross. Based on this, I’ve got a pretty neat idea for my next massive project.   Doesn’t really start till the New Year. Right now I’m just brainstorming.

Self Domination Summit
I’ve had an idea for a while.  It occurred to me this summer. I was inspired by the World Domination Summit.  I know some pretty awesome people.  These awesome people know some awesome people. The concept of friendship by association is a powerful concept.  I’d like to get them all under one roof so they can meet. Awesome people meeting awesome people. I am the “archetypal...

Hiatus
I’m taking a break from Social Media. Disappearing from the online realm. No big deal.  Lots of people don’t think I’ll last long.  We’ll see how it goes. You may even miss me. I thought a lot about this and people have been asking why. It’s a whole lot of little things. Prof. Wayne Cox’s Last Lecture about teaching in a virtual world, my increasing addiction...

TEDxQU 2011
Finished up with TEDxQU today.  What a phenomenal project. What a wonderful team. What an amazing line-up. Just spectacular.   I’ve never considered myself much of a leader.  But hearing some of the speakers I’m willing to accept that I am. Not the perfect one. But on my way. Such a momentous undertaking! I worked harder on this than anything else this academic year. It’s...
