Photography.

I met someone today.

 
As I left a date with a bro,
and finished my Pumpkin Latte at Starbucks with my friend Koop.

I like commonality.
It’s why talking to people with mustaches and beards is easy.
Camera holders are even better.

You can ask them what they see.

I asked him what is photography?
He’s a 69-year old, film-using photographer.

He said, “The thing about this (pointing to his film camera) and that (pointing to my digital camera) and photography is light. Black and White photography is great it really lets you see things as they are.”

So I’ve decided on my next major project.
It will be a Project 366. Beginning in the New Year.
Don’t know if it’ll be a fixed focal length project but B&W it will be. 

I love this town, so very much. 
He went to Queen’s University in the 60’s.
He’s now in his 60’s.

Between then and now he traveled through Europe and Asia.
His parents didn’t get him a car, he said. So he asked for money to travel.

Amazing.
